Jayen Properties and our family of companies have a history of development in British Columbia that reaches back over half a century. Beginning in the logging and sawmill sector in the late 1960s, the legacy that our family has grown and the contributions to the province are the driving force behind how we develop properties today — including over 1,300 market and rental homes and over 250,000 square feet of commercial space.

Experienced in real estate development, construction and hospitality management services, including PHI Hotel Group, Sukhi has been recognized for his expertise with several awards in different categories and brands across his portfolio of projects, including a personal recognition of Top 40 under 40. As an active member of the community, he believes that people and culture are the most valuable asset, and invests heavily in the professional and personal growth of the people he works with. Sukhi's strategic vision for continued growth is driven by his innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on creating enduring value through a legacy of communities.

Krinder Rai

Vice President

Part of Jayen Properties since its inception, Krinder has played an instrumental role in the development of our vision. Leading our team at a strategic level, her insight on finance and operations gives our management team an extensive level of guidance. Along with this industry leadership, Krinder also spearheads our philanthropic efforts in the community.

Raj Khangura

Chief Financial Officer

Overseeing all aspects of Jayen Properties, Raj leads our team of accounting professionals. Responsible for fiscal management, reporting, forecasting and analysis, she is a critical liaison to both our investment and banking partners, and is focused on the integrity of all reporting, budgeting and cash management procedures.

Trevor Massey

Director of Construction

As our Director of Construction, Trevor plays a vital role at Jayen with his oversight of our development projects from inception of design, permitting and right through to construction completion. He is actively involved in all aspects of each project—from design coordination, permitting, procurement, project monitoring, quality assurance, managing budgets, and schedule coordination. His decades-long career in construction management has given him a well-versed skillset, elevating our residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Parveen Rai

Director of Marketing

With extensive experience in real estate project presale management, Parveen leads our marketing team and oversees the branding, advertising, strategy, and digital marketing at a corporate and community level. As our branding specialist, she drives the creative direction of our communities by coordinating creative agencies, interior design teams, sales teams and other consultants to fulfill the vision of each of our communities.

A legacy starts here.

Jayen Properties, a subsidiary of RBI Group of Companies, is the developer behind Park & Maven, a project born from vision and tenacity.

Since launching in 2002, RBI Group of Companies has amassed extensive experience within the building and real estate development industry and in multi-family property construction. RBI Group has experienced rapid growth, working tirelessly to acquire, develop and build dozens of hotel properties across British Columbia and Alberta under the PHI Hotel Group brand.

During this time RBI Group also entered into the commercial and industrial construction space, completing work on a 120,000 sq. ft. property which today has become the corporate head office for RBI and it’s subsidiaries. The company continued to progress, expanding their portfolio of properties and acquiring Pacific Gateway Hotel and Marina in Richmond, BC, and in 2021, Meridian Hills Golf Course in Surrey, BC.

With Park & Maven, a 650-home masterplanned community that puts connection and quality at the forefront. Under the Jayen Properties brand, the RBI Group looks toward the future with upcoming projects such as a 24-storey condo and hotel in Vancouver, BC, and a 36 storey office tower and student housing in Surrey, BC.

Building a Legacy of Communities


Our history of building homes began with a single-family home in 1978. Since then we’ve built hundreds of multi-family homes across the Lower Mainland.


Construction of first single family detached home.

1982 - 1991

Growth continued with over 300 single family
homes constructed throughout BC.

1989 - present

Acquired original property for Surrey Farms which
today is over 500 acres.


Construction of Cascades, a multi-family community in
Harrison Hot Springs.


Construction of Echo Beach Resort, a multi-family
complex in Harrison Hot Springs.

1997 - present

Founded PHI Hotel Group which today holds a
portfolio of 12 hotels, including the Marriott,
IHG and Westin brands.


RBI Group of Companies including RBI Forming and
RBI Construction was founded.

2006 - present

Entered the hospitality industry in Alberta, developing and
building 14 hotels in our current portfolio.

2009 - present

Commercial and industrial projects commence
with the 120,000 sq. ft. Panorama Centre and
our corporate head office.


Building of Central, a mixed-use development in Surrey.


Acquired Pacific Gateway & Deckside Marina in Richmond.


Work began on Waddington Homes, a townhome
development in Kamloops.


First venture into sports & leisure with the acquisition
of Meridian Hills Golf + Wine Par 3 in Surrey.


Ground breaks on Park & Maven, the 650 home masterplan community in Willowbrook.
